Rain, Rain, Rain, and More Rain

Summer vacation started a few weeks ago along with days and days of rain. I really don't mind the rain--in fact, I prefer it to the heat that is on it's way now. The only problem is that Anna suddenly was paranoid about the storms, and every time someone went out during a storm, she went crazy. She was certain they weren't going to be okay. So how we got her out to play in the rain I'm not sure, but one night we looked out the kitchen window into the park, which is a storm drain as well. There was a HUGE "pool" as Thys called it, and he wanted to go "swimming." So off they went in their rain boots. They got a little more than their boots wet, but they had a great time. Nothing better than a summer storm.
