May was a busy month for our 2nd grader: 2nd grade program, science fair, birthday, field trips, talent show. She was a busy girl, and so were we! Here are the highlights!
Anna at the science fair. She (WE) did a project testing whether bees liked sugar water or plain water better. She got the highest award for her project. Way to go Anna!

Anna's birthday morning.
The gifts!
Cake after dinner at Training Table.
"Real" birthday cake for they party. Designed very well by Anna, made not-so-well by mom.
For Anna's party we had a carnival. It was sooo fun. We had about 6-8 booths, and the kids won tickets. We had a BUNCH of prizes they could buy with their tickets at the end. Our neighbors/babysitter has this great board for the Sponge Toss. It was a it with the kids. I thought this party would be easy because I had done a carnival for the youth at church, but I spent A LOT of time on this little event. Anything for my kids!!
We had the traditional pinata at Grandma and Grandpa's with the cousins.
Anna's class fieldtrip to Red Butte Gardens. I was already done with school, so I got to go with her class. This is Anna and her best little friend on the bus.
