Sophie is a marker menace. This kid colors on everything but paper. Today I caught her making her own tatoos. At least it's pink this time instead of black--and thank goodness it's washable. We've disposed of anything NOT washable recently.
The other night we were having movie night. Thys was not too interested, and pretty soon I heard him wildly driving the stroller through the kitchen, around the table, then into the living room over and over again. I figured he wasn't doing any harm, until I started looking for Sophie and realized she was the passenger in the toy baby stroller. She seemed to be having a great time, but I nearly had a heart attack. We tried to get them slowed down a bit, but they both seemed to enjoy the speed a little too much.
This kid is too much. Sophie loved the little cars at the Children's Museum so much that we got her a car off the KSL Classifieds. We certainly have enough bikes, trikes, cars, and wagons in the garage, but the one she has been riding has pedals she can't reach, so she uses her feet. Every time she pushes the back wheels would run into her heels. We felt a little sorry for her, so here she is with her new transportation. And shame on her mom for letting all that hair hang in her face.
Here is a pretty good view of Thys wearing his Home Depot apron which serves very well in the kitchen as well as the garage. He love to do dishes and wear diapers. HELP!

it looks like you all are having a good summer!
wish i could help with the potty training. as you are aware, we have our own problems when it comes to that!
i think thys & sophie would get along quite well with sam & ada. they are always chasing/wrestling/generally playing too rough and i always want to stop the fun - - but they are both laughing so hard i figure it must be ok - right?
sam is a little on the timid side too. basically he is afraid of things he shouldn't be afraid of and not afraid of things he should be afraid of. maybe they will grow out of it? that is my answer to most everything!
Soph is SOOOOO blonde. She looks like her mama.
