July 24th

On the 24th we went swimming, which really is an all-day affair by the time you dress in swim diapers, plastic pants, etc., then sunscreen, gather towels and treats, get there, swim, come home, bath and dress everyone again. . . . This is why we don't get to the pool too often. I need dad help anyway, so someone can swim with Soph while I get to ride the waterslide with Thys and Anna. We had a great time at the pool. In the evening we had the neighbors over for fireworks and ice cream.
