Meet Sophie

Since my parents had to leave the hospital, my mom FINALLY gave me a name! This is me, Sophie June, my first day at home.
Mom and Sophie in the hospital.
Thys loves to poke her eyes! And yes, we often let him roam hospitals without pants.
Annie just plain LOVES her!
Mel's official going home job.

And we're out of there! No more hospital food, sleepless nights, being poked and prodded! Yeah!

Hello everyone, here are the first picture of our new baby girl.
She is 7 pounds 2 ounces, and 20 inches tall. She has lots of dark hair, almost as much as Anna when she was born!!! Stacey is doing well, as well as the little one.
Any name suggestions are welcome.

Draper Temple Open House

Thys on the bus.

We've been excited for this occasion for a few weeks now. We have had FHE about temples, and Anna was all ready to go. She mostly was excited to see the. . .fountain on cows? Thys is really into busses, so we told him yesterday he would probably get to ride a bus, and he was not disappointed. It is a beautiful temple, and we are excited to have it here near us. We truely are blessed to have so many temples so close by!

T or Papa?

It's probably not a really hard guess, but I love how much these two look alike!

Christmas Eve and Morning

Mel's favorite Christmas present: Thys's train! Although I think Thys likes it too!
Thys's real favorite Christmas present--bubble wrap!
Annie with her new "chalkboard" (and whiteboard) and guitar.
Cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve.
Or cookies for Thys on Chirstmas Eve!

Christmas Traditions

As close as I could get to a nice pic of the kids with nice Christmas outfits on.

Making cookies for Santa. (Anna's babysitter made her the darling Chirstmas apron! She is the greatest find in the world!)
Anna dressed as an angel for the nativity.

Lights at Temple Square. Please ignore the fat pregnant lady who couldn't find a coat to go around her, and the two-year old who wouldn't wear a coat, hat, or gloves!
Thys's first train ride (TRAX)--he was delighted!
Annie making Christmas treats. She loves to bake!

The Tree Party

It just so happened that Sinter Klaas and the tree decorating all happened at the same time. After we decorate the tree we sleep around it, so here we are. Annie and Thys had their new PJ's from Sinter Klaas. We did put Thys in his crib, but the rest of us slept around the tree! Fun! Anna already looks forward to this party for days! She couldn't wait for all the activities of the weekend.
