Another Birthday

This birthday was not as exciting or looked forward to as the kids' birthdays, but it happened nevertheless. Thys insisted I have cake, so we went to SO CUPCAKE after I picked them up. We payed a small fortune for okay cupcakes, but that was only the beginning. I got cake from my students, cake from Mel and the kids while I was at assembly practice at school, and cheesecake from my friend. Mel and I passed at soccer practice, so we had candles the first time without him. I think I still have a night out in the works. . . huh, Pops?
