I have never been to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point before, but my sis and her family were in town and wanted to go, so we went with the cousins. I really didn't know what to expect, but it ended up being really fun for the kids. They had so much to do: slides off hay bales, water pump duck racing, dress-ups with a Ciderella carriage, go-carts, 3D spook ally, cow train, corn bin, pig races, and, or course, a corn maze. We did it all. Three hours later we left exhausted and dirty, but we did have a good time.Thys on the cow train
Ann's cousins burried her in the corn bin--they were absolutely filthy from the corn!

The Zoo. . .Again
I had last Friday off, and it was a beautiful day. I wanted to do something fun with the kids, but I couldn't really come up with anything new and exciting. Then I remembered that the zoo had the new baby elephant, so we went along with thousands of other people who were out of school that day. It actually wasn't too bad once we found a place to park, and the kids were great. I wish I would have taken a picture of the baby elephant--I just did video. We loved all the baby animals: the snow leopard cub, the baby giraffe, and the new baby elephant. The kids did it all--the train, the carousel, a treat, the playground. . .are they spoiled?!?!? We had such a fun time!

Who Needs a Dog?
This actually really grosses me out, but it is sort of funny. Anna chases the poor chickens all over the yard and carries them around. The other day they even got "flying lessons," which consisted of Anna throwing them high into the air so they would flap their wings like mad. I also saw one get a ride down the slide. I think we've ended the "flying lessons," but she still holds the darn birds and loves them like they were a dog or a cat. Crazy! We go through a lot of soap!

The Farm. . .with a Twist
Okay, I know I post a lot of pictures from the farm. We go often because we have a membership, which makes free entertainment. (Well, not really free, but I don't have to fork out the cash each time.) But this trip was a little different--Papa came along to see Thys ride the pony. He was a proud papa! This is Papa and the kids on the wagon ride. I love this picture.

Park City Fun
Anna has been asking to go to Park City since February. We kept waiting for company to come to go, but we never got up there. So, for our last summer outing, we went up. (We really wanted to go to the Storytelling Festival, but our kids just aren't quite old enough for that all day and night event--as fun as it is.) It was a beautiful night and we had a blast!Mel and Sophie
Annie on the trampoline--she even did a back flip!
Mom and Thys on the coaster. (He actually wasn't old enough, but he was certainly big enough, and I didn't have the heart to tell him no.) Thys announced when we were done, "Mom, you were screaming. Why?" It's kind of scary ride--and I was worried about him, but he thought it was great and was ready to go again.

Sophie's big ride was the Baby Bjorn
Cute little Annie
The whole fam--and not-so-cute little Annie. She wasn't ready to be done.
But the giant caramel apple cheered her up!
And Sophie was just happy to be there!
What crazy parents lets a two-year-old bring a caramel apple in the car!?!?!
